Soma Pill has been approved by FDA in the year 2007 and is sold as a prescription drug in the U.S. In most countries, it has been declared as a controlled drug (C-IV) by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) under the Controlled Substances Act.

A person must take proper rest and physical therapy while using this pain medication to get effective pain relief.

Soma Mechanism of Action

Soma pill works like a blanket sedative that affects the entire central nervous system of a person and provides not only pain relief but mind relaxation from the pain. It alters the transmission of pain sensations that nerves send to the brain and changes the way a person behaves and reacts towards pain.

Therefore, it is not a true muscle relaxer but a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxer. Its benefits have wider reach than just relaxing the muscles of the person. It helps to give a good mental relief to the user from the acute pain.
