PDE5 is a chemical that restricts proper flow of blood in the penile region by destroying cGMP. Vardenafil, being a PDE5 inhibitor, prevents the production of this chemical which leads to a greater flow of blood in the region, and thus, it treats erectile dysfunction. Please note that this drug does not provide any protection against sexually transmitted diseases.

How to consume this drug?

Always follow your doctor’s dosing instructions while using this drug. Misusing this drug in any way can cost you your health.

•    You can use this drug orally either before or after having food. If you take this drug after food, it might take some time to take effect but the effects would not be reduced.
•    Never take this drug with alcohol or with any other such substances.
•    Vardenafil takes about 30 minutes to take effect and lasts up to 5 hours. Do not use this drug more than once a day. At least a gap of 24 hours must be kept between the drugs.
•    Provide your complete medical history to your doctor. If you have a habit of consuming alcohol regularly, you must tell your doctor about it.
•    Store the medication at room temperature away from extreme moisture, heat, and direct sunlight. Keep it in a place that is out of the reach and sight of children or pets.
•    Avoid driving or performing other activities/tasks that require you to be mentally alert. This drug can make you feel dizzy. Do consult a doctor if the dizziness persists or gets worse.
