·         If you happen to miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost your bed time, skip it and resume to your normal dosing schedule. Do not take two doses together or extra doses just to make up your missed dose.

  • ·         Armodafinil can be addictive if misused. Do not give it away to any person who has a history of drug abuse. Keep it out of the reach of children and animals. Selling or giving away any medicine is against the law.
  • ·         Store it at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not keep it in your bathroom.
  • ·         You may experience withdrawal symptoms if you suddenly stop using the pill. This may happen if you have been using it for a longer time or in higher doses. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice these symptoms.
  • ·         Do not take Armodafinil with alcohol.
  • ·         Avoid doing any kind of tasks that require you to be highly alert until you know how Armodafinil is affecting you. Tasks like driving, operating any big machinery etc. should be avoided if you don’t feel awake enough after taking this medication. Talk to a doctor immediately when it happens.
  • ·         If you are 65 and older, take care while using Armodafinil. You could be more prone to side effects.

WHO SHOULD NOT CONSUME IT?

  • ·         If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking Armodafinil. Your doctor can tell you about the risks and benefits of taking Armodafinil while you are pregnant.
  • ·         If you are a breastfeeding mother, consult with a doctor before taking this medication. He/She can tell you about any risks of taking this pill while you are breastfeeding.
  • ·         Tell your doctor if you have any allergic reactions to Armodafinil, Modafinil or any other part of Armodafinil. Such allergic reactions may include rashes; hives; itching; swelling of face, lips or tongue etc.
  • ·         If you have heart problems, heart valve problems, shortness of breath, cough, wheezing etc, talk to your doctor.
  •        Also, keep a list of all the prescribed drugs, non-prescribed drugs and herbal products that you are currently using and show it to the doctor before consuming Armodafinil.
